SCE Defoamer Plus is a water based silicone defoaming agent that is exceptional at breaking foam in open-tub or closed loop systems.
SCE Defoamer Plus is synthetically modified for outstanding water solubility and low residual filming. This means that SCE Defoamer Plus will stay in solution and will not be removed by oil separating systems; plus, it’s low filming properties means it will not build up on your thermal transfer lines affecting transfer efficiency.
SCE Defoamer Plus is ultra concentrated so very little is needed for foam control. Not only does this maximize your cost per use, it also gives you more flexibility in controlling light foam or heavy industrial foam.
This product is not toxic and is also available as a food grade defoamer.
Defoamer Plus Features
- 6.5 – 8.0 neat
- Breaks foam in open tub or closed loop systems

Directions
- The use amount of Defoamer Plus required will depend on the amount of contamination causing foam in your system
- In general, start with 1 cup (8 oz.) of Defoamer Plus for every 200 gallons of water which needs defoaming
- Add more Defoamer Plus if foam does not subside
